Dang Show is an Iranian ensemble founded by brothers Taha Parsa and Shaya Shoja, with its English-language biography dating the band to 2007.1 The Persian account distinguishes research begun in 1383 of the Solar Hijri calendar from the registration of the name in 1385, so the sources point to different beginnings for the band.2 Its instrumentation brings together saxophone, tombak, piano, cello and bass.1
